during Emergency for more than 15 months; led the "Ekatmata
Yatra" from Akkalkot to Jalna and Kisan Yatra from Tuljapur
to Ghrishneswar (Ellora) highlighting farmers' plight;
organised Janadesh Yatra of Shri Sunderlal Patwa in Marath-
wada and also Sangharsha Yatra under the leadership of
Shri Gopinath Munde from Shivneri to Shivtirth; as a member
of B.J.P., relentlessly fought for the cause of the farmers;
participated in "Parivartan Yatra" alongwith Gopinath Munde;
as a Minister, adopted measures to strengthen co-operative
movement in Maharashtra
